Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 August 2026 · Effective: 1 August 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Anthrovium (the “Service”), operated by Anthrovium Labs (“Anthrovium”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Anthrovium is - and is not
Anthrovium is a personal health-data record and organisation tool. It helps you store blood-test and other results, track them over time, see how they trend, and prepare information to discuss with your GP.
Anthrovium is not a medical device, is not a healthcare provider, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the Service is a substitute for professional medical judgment. Any ranges, trends, suggestions, or prepared test requests are informational only. All clinical and rebate decisions are made by you and your qualified health professional. Always consult your GP before acting on anything you see in Anthrovium. If you may have a medical emergency, contact emergency services.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Your data and content
You retain ownership of the health information and content you add. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. You can export or delete your data at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or to enter another person’s health information without authority;
- attempt to breach security, access other users’ data, or disrupt the Service;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service or its content;
- rely on the Service as medical advice (see section 2).
6. Beta / early access
The Service may be offered in beta or private-access form. It may change, have limited availability, or contain errors. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We provide beta access “as is” and may modify or end it at any time.
7. Fees
Some features are or will be paid. Where fees apply, they will be disclosed before you are charged. Payment terms, billing cycle, and refund policy will be added when billing launches.
8. Third-party services and links
The Service integrates with third-party providers (e.g. hosting, email) and may reference external resources such as Medicare item information. We are not responsible for third-party services or the accuracy of external information; Medicare rebate eligibility is always determined by your GP and Medicare.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, brand (Anthrovium, the Waymark, and associated marks), and content we create, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you rights in our intellectual property except to use the Service as permitted.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any information (including ranges or trends) is complete or accurate for your circumstances.
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee can be limited, it is limited to (at our option) re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to section 10, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service for medical or clinical decisions. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or, where no fee was paid, to re-supply of the Service).
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your entry of another person’s information without authority, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; your data rights under the Privacy Policy continue.
14. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms. If we make material changes to the Terms, we will notify you before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
